It was built around 1735 and is situated on the banks of the River Wye between Chepstow Castle and the Old Wye Bridge. The restaurant was formely known as the "Half Moon Inn" and information about its history can be found in many of the Chepstow reference books. The chap with the gun is I understand Francis (Frank) Stanley Bluett with his wife Annie Christina Smith and I presume their four small children. Unfortunately there seems to be a fifth child?
